WELCOME, MY NAME IS JOEL…

I am a strength & flexibility coach both online and here in Singapore and I’m on a mission to

help everyday people become Everyday Warriors!

which probably sounds pretty melodramatic.

Let me explain.

It dawned on me in my early 20s that most adults are nothing close to who we want to be. Who we can be! All our childhood movement capabilities and teenage athleticism gets replaced by stiff joints, fragile ligaments and limited movement patterns.

Too often we resort to temporary solutions like pain killers, foam rolling, massages, ice baths and prayer to get us through.

Or even worse, we tell ourselves we’re just not cut out for this. We don’t have the movement abilities we once did. We’re just too old!

There’s nothing worse than you’re bodies limitations preventing you from enjoying the activities you love or getting to the next level in your craft. You know exactly what to do but your body simply cannot manage the task anymore.

Something is wrong when people in their 30s are complaining they’re too old to enjoy the activities they once loved!

Humans crave movement freedom!

Destroying your body under a barbell is draining, repetitive and often leads to injury. Knocking out random 45 minute HIIT classes or running until your feet hurt is not your answer.

These tactics are fine for general fitness but they are ultimately limited if they are not helping your whole body to move and feel great!

To be the adult you want to be, you need to combine your maximum strength capability with the mobility and movement freedom you had as a child.

Warriors know that simply being strong is not enough. To go into battle movement needs to be fluid. Joints, ligaments and tendons need to be resilient. Confidence in one’s body must be sound.

Warriors use a combination of strength & flexibility training to obtain movement freedom.

Movement freedom means removing all limitations on your human capacity to move.

Weights, bodyweight, flexibility focused, tendon & ligament strengthening, dynamic actions, running, jumping, skipping… whatever you please.

Is it uncommon? Maybe. But you’re here for uncommon results.

Stop wishing you were more flexible, more efficient with movement, more resilient.

Stop wishing you were out of pain, still young, still a force to be reckoned with.
